Life Reflection 2025

As I step into 2025, I've been reflecting on how life has unfolded so far. It’s been a mix of challenges, growth, and unexpected turns—the kind that shape you in ways you didn’t anticipate.

This year has been about stepping into new opportunities while cherishing the lessons from the past. Professionally, I've seen both familiar and fresh paths open up. Drawing on my experience as a bartender, mixologist, and barista, I've continued to create spaces where people can share a moment, a drink, or a story. The hustle of private events and the quiet artistry behind the barista counter still remind me why I love what I do: the connection. The magic of creating something small but meaningful for someone—it’s deeply rewarding.

Personally, life has felt like an evolving journey of self-discovery. There’s a deeper appreciation for balance now. I’ve learned that it’s not just about keeping busy or striving for the next milestone. It’s also about slowing down when needed, listening to my own needs, and acknowledging the emotions that bubble up in quieter moments. Grief, joy, contentment, and ambition—they’ve all taken turns guiding me.

One area I’ve grown passionate about is creating hearty, plant-based meals at home. It started as a way to eat healthier, but it’s turned into a creative outlet.

There's something meditative about chopping vegetables or experimenting with flavors, and it’s helped me stay grounded. My kitchen has become a little sanctuary.

Still, it hasn’t been all smooth sailing. Navigating life’s complexities—career changes, relationships, and personal aspirations—often feels like balancing on a tightrope. But those moments of uncertainty have also been where I’ve discovered my resilience. They’ve taught me to trust myself more, even when the future feels unpredictable.

Looking ahead, I’m hopeful. I’ve set intentions rather than rigid goals this year. Intentions to stay curious, to keep learning, to embrace both the highs and lows, and to cultivate spaces—whether professional or personal—that feel authentic and fulfilling. 2025 is a blank canvas, and while I’m not entirely sure what the final picture will look like, I’m excited to keep painting it, one brushstroke at a time.
