8 Key Lessons from the Art of Being Alone by Kelu..

There are moments when life feels like a relentless uphill climb, and lately, I’ve found myself stuck in that exhausting loop. It’s not the dramatic, earth-shattering crises that weigh me down—it’s the smaller things, the accumulation of frustrations that pile up day after day, eroding any sense of fulfillment or joy. Each morning feels the same, as if I’m waking up just to repeat a script I didn’t choose to write. This led me to sometimes feeling solitude to be able to cope with life & also discover ourselves. In this edition, I share with you what my coping mechanisms were during this time of self discovery and coming out a better version of myself.

1) Embrace solitude as a form of Self care

In different seasons of my life on this earth, I discover the art of being at your company and in the comforts of your life. Depending on how we choose to live, one must ensure that choices will always lead us to consequences in anything. Never forget, that every one on this earth is made with God's purpose so we must live purposefully.

Being alone also allows for emotional evolutions and allows emotional recharge & it sometimes leads us to a whole new understanding of oneself & fostering personal & maturity growth inside & outside.

2) Building a strong Relationship with myself

Being alone also allows me to cultivate & build an understanding of how learning can be also fun with my own company & nobody else, because crazy enough to say, I can be at my own best or worst self being. Learning to enjoy your own company is vital in this day and age, as it also nurtures different personalities. Also, look-out for materials that encourage these like minded people to nurture the next generations in these cruel societies.

3) SILENCE

In this journey I've also created a space in my life where I'd like to have moments to myself in quiet and silent spaces. This is where I get to listen to myself, understand different emotions within me and also different thought patterns that come with it. When we open ourselves to these spaces of understanding your truest self being, we also allow the opportunity to introspect our own selves. This gives us clarity and understanding of the way things are in different seasons of our lives.

4) Aloneness VS Loneliness

Also, in this season of my life, discovering more of what my soul longs for, is basically preferring to be alone because for some strange reasons, I get to see & be my own-self because my soul just feels more like it. Comfortable and allows me to breathe for one in my life.

It's my conscious decision that I'd always prefer to live alone then being surrounded by people and the energy that drives them. Aloneness is a conscious decision or choice in life for self discovery & peace, while loneliness stems from a lack of connection. If we are to learn to appreciate our time being alone, we absolutely do ourselves a favor, for inner peace of mind & minding our own spaces for clarity & also we can reduce the feeling of being lonely.

5) Use Alone time for Creativity & Productivity

In this season, I also got a chance to make time for other pending personal projects while also in this process, I had the need to discover and learn some new skill sets. Thought to myself, Why Not??...

6) Set Boundaries for Social interactions

In many seasons of our lives, we ought to understand why it's important to set boundaries in things we do, especially in relationships to basically control your energy. We have to find solutions in creating that balance in life, balance social engagements with moments of solitude to maintain emotional wellbeing.

7) Find Joy in simple activities

Currently, I feel like sometimes I'm a little bit all over the place, thankfully I'm also aware and notice a lot of improvement in how I deal with different situations that turn into milestones. I also try to find joy in doing some of my work I like doing, & seasons I'm on & for whatever the reasons I need to get that job done, I got it DONE. That was one of the motto that always keeps me going till this day and age. Finding joy in simple daily activities in your life can also be a game changer to most of us. Activities like reading a book, journaling, blogging, dancing. These activities can bring peace & contentment without the need of validation.

8) Develop Emotional Independence

In this phase of my life, speaking from personal experience, I really have built a spirit of self-reliance or self resiliency. By being so emotionally self reliant, it can be the toughest at 1st, but as you build that resilience in your heart and soul i believe anything that we want in life is achievable. By building stronger communities and boosting economically as we see endless opportunities.

Thank you friends for hearing me out and being a source of strength that keeps us igniting through spirit guides. Till my next updates, stay fabulous...
